The former Condowie Uniting Church held its final service on 4/5/1980 and the church building has since been demolisded. The church had been part of the Uniting Church Synod of South Australia. The location is now marked with a Cairn, unveiled on 15/12/1985. The last church building on the site, erected on land donated by Tom Turner, was opened on 10/9/1911 for the Methodist Church. It replaced earlier structures in the district erected in the 1870s by both the Primitive Metodist Church and the Bible Christian Church who brought together by Union in 1900. Earlier services for both churches being held in private homes. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 9/3/2025.
