A plaque above a font at the front door records: Saint Hilda's - Anglican Church - 1888 - Former  St Trinitatis - Lutheran Church - The church is the oldest in Eudunda, built in 1884 by a group of Lutherans under the leadership of Pastor Heinze and dedicated as St Trinitatis. In 1888 the Church of England purchased the Lutheran chapel and immediately added a porch. The first Anglican Service was conducted 18 March 1888 and the formal opening was 15 April 1888. Bishop Kennion dedicated the church in the name of St Hilda, the Abbess of Whitby, 30 April 1889. The vestry dates from 1895 - This font was used until 1948.

The former St Hilda's Anglican Church, Eudunda has closed with the church building being deconsecrated in 2018. The property was subsequently sold. The church had previously been part of the Diocese of Adelaide. The church building was opened in 1884 as St Trinitatis Lutheran Church. In 1888 it was sold to the Anglican congregation, and dedicated with the name of St Hilda, by Bishop Kennion on 30/4/1889. No other details are known.
