St Ethelreda's Anglican Church - Former

The former St Ethelreda's Anglican Church, Mypolonga was part of the Parish of Murraylands and the Diocese of The Murray. The church held its last service on 23/9/2018, and the property has now been sold. Before the first church was formally established, members had an association with the the paddle steamer Etonia, a floating Church of England that operated on the Murray River about 1900. The first church building was a wooden structure, moved from Owens in SA and erected by local volunteers. It was dedicated on 28/6/1915 by Bishop Arthur N Thomas. The church celebrated its centenary in 2015. The present church building was opened on 16/10/1933 by Bishop Thomas.
