The St Matthew's Lutheran Church, Riverton is part of the Lutheran District of South Australia-Northern Territory and the Lutheran Church of Australia. The church building was originally erected in 1874 for The Bible Christian Church, which amalgamated with the Wesleyans and Primitive Methodists in 1900 to become the Methodist Church.
