The Unity Hill Uniting Church is part of the Generate Presbytery and the Uniting Church Synod of South Australia. The church began when Cottage Prayer Meetings were organised by Mrs Alicia Simmons in the homes of Mrs William Simmons and Mrs John Garrett in the 1860s. When the Rev James Haslam arrived services were held in the Couthouse. The foundation stone of the first church building was laid in 1867. When this building became too small, a larger structure ware erected and opened by the Rev Dr Henry Howard on 27/9/1908. Extensions were carried out in 1921, and a new hall constructed in 1930. The church celebrated its 75th anniversary in 1942. More recent renovations/rebuilding have been carried out but no details are known. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 18/3/2024.
