The former Oodla Wirra Methodist Church closed in 1969. The church was erected for the Primitive Methodist's about 1890, on land donated by Mr H J Badger. The church building was extended and re-opened on 20/4/1924 by the Rev Edgar Arnold (Superintendent of the Dawson Mission). The extension was a tin and timber structure, making the building T shaped. [Sourced from: https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/110212956]. The church became part of the Methodist Church in the early 1900s. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 1/11/2024.
