The former Port Victoria Uniting Church closed about 1994, and the property was sold (1998?). The church had been part of the Generate Presbytery in the Uniting Church Synod of South Australia. The church building was opened for the Wesleyan Methodist Church on 17/3/1878 by the Rev T W Martin. The porch was opened on 11/11/1928. Earlier church services where held in what was known as Scott's hut, and later in Waterman's store, where bags of sugar and rice served as seats. The church became part of the Methodist Church at Union in 1900, and part of the Uniting Church at its formation in 1977. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 14/3/2025.
