The Stansbury Uniting Church is in the Yorke Peninsula Uniting Church Regional Mission, part of the Wimala Presbytery and the Uniting Church Synod of South Australia. The present church building was opened on 23/12/1877, as a Wesleyan Methodist Church, becoming part of the Methodist Church, at Union in 1900, and the Uniting Church in 1977.
