The Northwestern Community Church, Queenstown was formed about 2007 when the Queenstown Church of Christ merged with the the Cheltenham Church of Christ. The former Queenstown Church of Christ was established in 1885, and about 1900 acquired the former Primitive Methodist church building at 193 Port Road, now privately owned (sold 2009). To meet the needs of the growing congregation the present building (201 Port Road) was purchased and redeveloped. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 26/5/2022.et the needs of a growing congregation we purchased what had been a window factory next door to the old Queenstown church building. The redevelopment took several years, but we are now blessed to have a modern, comfortable facility. The old church building (pictured left) is now a private residence.
