The Tintinara Uniting Church is part of the Presbytery of Southern SA and the Uniting Church Synod of South Australia. The present church building was dedicated on 7/8/1966 having been built by and for the Parkin Mission, replacing an earlier building, sold to the CWA (see separate entry - 5266). Early in the 20th Century the Congregationalists and the Methodists agreed that in towns along the Dukes Highway, between Tailem Bend and Bordertown, would be serviced by the Congregational Church. The Methodists withdrew from Tintinara and its church was permanently closed. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 6/12/2024.
