The Our Lady, Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Wallaroo is part of the Parish of Kadina (with Sacred Heart, Kadina; St Francis of Assisi, Moonta and St Margaret's, Port Broughton) and the Diocese of Port Pirie. The present church building was opened in April 1979. It replaced an earlier church building opened on 15/12/1867, at cnr Young & Bagot Streets, which closed in 1979. No other details are known.
