The Yacka Uniting Church functions in conjunction with the Gulnare Uniting Church (see separate entry - 5471) as the Yacka/Gulnare Uniting Church. (UCA Website SA - May 2022). This was previously the Yacka Wesleyan Methodist Church, which opened in 1881 and celebrated its centenary as the Yacka Uniting Church on 5/4/1981, although services had been held in the district from at least 1875. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 11/1/2019 & 24/5/2022.
Information not clear. The church is recorded as still functioning in the same building that was sold on 9/8/2019. (Lot 63) 12 Charles St., Yacka. Correction/clarification invited.
