The St Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Wayville, is a Mass Centre for the Society of Saint Pius X, which sits outside the formal Catholic Church. The Society was founded by "Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre - a man of the Church, missionary, founder of the SSPX, - a man who helped preserve the tradition of the Church after Vatican II."
