Ward Hill Methodist Church - Former

The former Ward Hill Methodist Church closed many years ago, and the property is now privately owned. The Bible Christian Church was established in Ward Hill in a timber and iron building about 1890. A school was opened in the church building on 8/7/1891. The present church/school building was erected to the north of the original building, on a site donated by Mr Albert Ward, and opened on 19/6/1904. The school opened on 26/6/1904 and  continued in the building until May 1949, and the church until the mid 1950s¹. No other details are known.
