The former Nangari Lutheran Church, Taldra held its final service on 16/6/1968. The first church service in the Nangari district was held in the home of Mr Otto Schulze in late 1914, conducted by Pastor Applet from Murray Bridge. The first congregation was formed in 1918, and given the name Nangari Trinity Congregation. The church building was erected/opened on 23/4/1922. Over the years many alterations had been carred out on the building to meet the needs of the congregation.
