Comments
The former Frankford Uniting Church closed in the 1990s, and the property was sold. The church had been part of the Presbytery of Tasmania and the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria and Tasmania. The church building was originally erected by the Primitive Methodists and formally opened, for the second time, on 7/11/1886 by the Rev Madson. The building was severely damaged in a storm in 1938 when it was dislodged from its foundation, however it was repaired1. A Bible associated with the earlier church is located in the property.
