St Andrew's Anglican Church

The St Andrew's Anglican Church, Westbury is part of the Parish of Quamby and the Diocese of Tasmania. The church building was opened in 1842, and consecrated in March 1851. The chancel and tower were added between 1859-60. However, due to the poor quality of the bricks the structure had to undergo significant repairs a number of times.  A wooden Sunday School building was opened on 4/9/1895 by Bishop Montgomery. This building is still located on the site and beside the church building.  More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photograph uploaded 05/07/2016.
