The former St Alban's Anglican Church, Pioneer closed many years ago and the property is now privately owned. The church had been part of the Diocese of Tasmania. Anglican services in the Pioneer area began in the early 1900s, and a church building was opened by Archdeacon Beresford on 1/1/1912. After the church closed, the building was relocated (late 1990s?) to its present site in Lalla. No other details are known.
