St Andrew's Anglican Church - Former

The former St Andrew's Anglican Church, Mountain River closed in the 1990s, and the property was sold. The church had been part of the Diocese of Tasmania. Regular Anglican services in the district began about 1918, being held in the local public hall. In the early 1940s an old State school.property was acquired and converted for use as a church. This building was replaced in the 1960s by an A-frame church building which was dedicated to St Andrew in September 1961.
