The former Christ Church Anglican Church, Low Head has closed, and the property was sold in May 2020. The church was part of the Diocese of Tasmania. The church building was erected in 1877 and consecrated in 1884 by Bishop Sandford. It was built on land donated by Mr James Long, for a Church of England place of worship. The delay in consecration arose due to uncertainty as to whether it was to be a 'Union Church' or an Anglican Church building. It was resolved as being an Anglican Church and consecrated accordingly. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 20/4/2020 & 12/5/2023.
