The former St Martin's Anglican Church, Dunalley has closed, and the property was sold in 2019. The church had been part of the Diocese of Tasmania. The church building was opened and consecrated in February 1925, by the Bishop of Tasmania, the Rev Dr R S Hay. The church was built by pubic subscription, and forms a memorial to the men of the district who fought in the first Wolrd War. It was constructed using stone from part of the prison buildings at Saltwater River, on the opposite side of Norfolk Bay. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 11/5/2023.
