The former Beveridge Catholic Church building is no longer used. The construction of the church nave began in 1857 and when completed about 1862, for a time was also used as a school. The chancel was added in 1877. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 22/11/2018.

 

Note: Ned Kelly was born at Beveridge and baptised in the church by Fr Charles O'Hea. He also began attending the school in 1863 at the age of eight.
