The St Margaret's Presbyterian Church, Balaclava is now part of the St Kilda & Balaclava Presbyterian Church.The St Margaret's congregation began about 1911, and the current site was acquired about 1913, but due to war disruption it was not until December 1916 that services began in a temporary building on the site. Although plans for other buildings had been made over the years, nothing was able to be achieved until the present building was erected and opened on 1/5/1954, by the Right Rev Alan Watson, Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Victoria.
