The Arawata Uniting Church is part of the Presbytery of Gippsland and the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria & Tasmania. The church also functions as part of the Parish of Korumburra. The building was opened on 17/4/1910 with the Rev J S Davis and the Rev T Green conducting the morning and afternoon services respectively. The church building was erected as a Union Church by the Presbyterians and Methodists of the district. The site was donated by Mr Chris Aeschlimann. Before the church building was erected services were conducted in private homes or the Arawata Hall, after it opened in 1889. A Sunday School hall was built and opened on 13/7/1957, as a tribute to the church pioneers, by the Rev C T F Goy. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 24/3/2023.
