The former St Mary'sThe St Mary's Anglican Church, Balmoral appears to have closed. The church had been part of the Diocese of Ballarat. The church building was opened about 1895 and a Sunday School hall, located on the south east side of the church was erected in the 1960s. The church was erected on donated land. The three main windows were donated by Mr & Mrs Armytage of Fulham Station. Until the church building was erected the Anglican congregation used the facilities of the local St Andrew's Presbyterian Church. Two pencil pines near the gate were planted in 1897 to commemorate Queen Victoria's diamond jubilee. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 2/12/2016.
