Comments

The former Hazel Glen Uniting Church closed after serving the community for about 150 years, and the property was sold in 2022. The church had been part of the Mernda Parish and the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria & Tasmania. The church building was initially erected as the Linton Wesleyan Chapel, and opened about 1872 (name changed from Linton to Hazel Glen about 1886). It became part of the Methodist Church about 1900 and the Uniting Church in 1977. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 10/1/2025.
