The Eltham Montmorency Uniting Church was formed when the St Andrew's Uniting Church, Montmorency amalgamated in 1996 with the Eltham Uniting Church. (see St Andrew's Uniting Church, Montmorency - 3094).
The Eltham Wesleyan Methodist Church had its beginnings in the 1850s, meeting in private homes. The first church building was erected in 1860 in Henry Street. It was replaced when the current church was erected in the 1880s. Additions and alterations have been carried out over the years to meet the needs of the congregation. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 10/3/2021.
