The Christ Church Anglican Church, Drouin is part of the Diocese of Gippsland. The present church building was dedicated on 19/9/1936 and consecrated on 29/9/1945 by the Rt Rev D B Blackwood, 3rd Bishop of Gippsland. The first Christ Church building was a timber structure, erected at the corner of Albert Road and Grant Street, on land donated by Maryann & Richard Higgs. It was dedicated on 18/1/1880. This building was relocated to the present site on 1891, and became the church hall when the present church building was erected, and in 2003 became known as Maxwell Hall. It is located behind the present church building. A number of additions and alterations have been made to the present building over the years, to meet the needs of the congregation. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 4/5/2021.
