The East Kew Uniting Church is part of the Uniting Church Presbytery of Yarra Yarra and the Synod of Victoria & Tasmania. Early church services began about 1922 in the Kew East Citizen's Hall, and continued there until the present building was erected/opened in March 1939, by the Rev Wilson Macaulay. It became part of the Uniting Church in 1977. The East Kew Uniting congregation held its final service in the church building, about Easter 2021. The congregation then joined with the West Hawthorn Uniting Church, and the Joong Ang (Korean) congregations to form the new Kew Uniting Church congregation (see separate entry - 3101). More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 13/10/2021.
