The earliest Presbyterian church services in Finley were held at Tuppal Station and conducted by the Minister from Deniliquin. The foundation stone for the church building was laid on 29/10/1919. It was opened jointly by Mrs J T Close and Miss Christina McAllister, by opening the two front doors at the same time in March 1920. The official openeing and dedecation was held on 6/8/1920 with the Rev C H Hain, officiating.
The building was also used for a period by a Methodist congregation, until they had erected their own church building.
Weekly services ceased in April 2015.
More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photograph uploaded 27/1/2018.
