"First meeting in 1984 as a life group of Life Ministry Centre, Chirnside Park, this group quickly grew. In 1986 the group began to meet weekly at Healesville High School under the name 'Christian Family Life Centre' with John Meadth as its Pastor...
The church continued to meet at Healesville High School until a shirt factory on the corner of McGrettons Rd and Lilydale Rd came up for sale in 1993. The church purchased the site and its members undertook extensive renovations to convert the building to the present-day church.
