The Goorambat Uniting Church is part of the Presbytery of North Eastern Victoria and the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria & Tasmania. The former Methodist Church opened about 1865, and the present church building was erected in 1924. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
The painting inside the church was created in 2017 as part of the local Wall to Wall festival. The concept image is that of 'Sophia' the female aspect of the Holy Spirit. This tradition draws on the spirit of God as it is manifested in the Old Testament times and the post Pentecostal period. See below.
