The Wesley Evangelical Uniting Church, Kyabram is part of the Presbytery of North Eastern Victoria and the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria & Tasmania. It is affiliated with the Assembly of Confessing Congregations. Methodism had an influence on the character of Kyabram, as it was the first to establish a church there and was supported by a larger proportion of the population. Methodism began in the area about the 1870s, with Kyabram becoming the central church in the area with the development of the railway station. Early services were held in private homes, and later a boundary rider's hut, which had been moved from Wyuna. A timber church building was erected in 1888, later sold to the Presbyterians in Tongala, and a new brick building was erected in 1892. The church celebrated its jubilee in 1923 and a decision was taken to erect a larger building. This resulted in the present building, which was erected/opened in 1928, by the Rev W J Williams. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 5/10/2022 & 16/10/2024.
