Comments
The Keysborough (Somoan) Uniting Church is part of the Presbytery of Port Philip East. It meets in the former Sunday School building, as the former church building is unsafe, and fenced off (see separate entry - 3173). The first Wesleyan service in Keysborough was held in 1853 in the home of Mr George Keys. The first church building was erected about 1861 and now forms the rear section of the former Sunday School building. Over the years additions and alterations have been made to the Sunday School building to meet the needs of the congregation. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 9/6/2021.
