The St Francis in the Field Anglican Church, Mooroolbark has closed (2017?). The church had been part of the Diocese of Melbourne. The church had its genesis in a Sunday School that met in the home of Mr & Mrs Widdows about 1954, with the present church building erected in 1962 and enlarged in the 1980s.
