Mitchel Valley Uniting Church - Former

This former Mitchel Valley Uniting Church, Lindenow property is now  closed and the property was sold in 2017. The present building replaced a wooden one erected in 1880 for the Lindenow Presbyterian Church. Prior to the commencement of the Uniting Church in Australia, the congregations of Lindenow (Presbyterian) and Wuk Wuk (Methodist) became the Mitchell Walley Uniting Church. A new building was erected in 1991, financed partly by the sale of properties at Wuk Wuk (Methodist) and Glenaladale (Presbyterian), as services had been discontinued at both these churches in 1984, and the congregations worshipped together in Lindenow. The new church building was opened on 5/5/1991 and closed on 25/9/2016. More historical information/photographs of the former church(es)/congregation(s) are invited. Photographs uploaded 6/2/2018.
