The former St Stephen's Lutheran Church, Mortlake has closed, and the property has been sold (2015). The church had been part of the Victorian District of the Lutheran Church of Australia. The church building had originally been erected in 1867 for the Wesleyan Methodist Church, but following the formation of the Uniting Church in 1977, was acquired and became St Stephen's Lutheran Church.
