The St George's Anglican Church, Malvern is in the Parish of Malvern and the Diocese of Melbourne. The church grew out of of a Sunday School, began in 1854, in the home of Colin Campbell. Services were conducted in his home until a school built in 1857 and licensed for worship in 1858. The first part of the present church building was opened on 19/9/1869. The completed building was consecrated in 1888. [Sourced from: https://www.stgeorgesmalvern.org/our-history]. The St Martin's Memorial Chapel was consecrated by Archbishop Lees in October 1923, in memory of the soldiers from St George's Parish. Over the years alterations have been made to the church, and new buildings erected, to meet the needs of the congregation. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 10/8/2021.
