Holy Nativity Anglican Church

The Holy Nativity Anglican Church, Murrumbeena is in the Parish of Hughesdale and the Diocese of Melbourne. The present church  building was dedicated in 1961, as a chapel of ease, a branch church of St Peter's, Murrumbeena. It replaced an earlier wooden structure, which became the church hall. Church services in the 1960s and 1970s were well attended, but began to decline in the 1980s, and are now only held at St Peter's.  When services were suspended in 2020 due to COVID, they did not resume. A deconsecration service was held on Christmas Eve, 2023. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 12/11/2021.
