The former Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Marong is now closed, and the property was sold about 2004. It was part of the Diocese of Bendigo. Anglican services had been held in Marong from about 1873, in the Presbyterian Church, and conducted by the Rev J Carlisle from Eaglehawk. The present church building was erected on land donated by Mr H J Palmer, with the first service held in it on 1/9/1878 by the Rev Carlisle. A vestry was built in 1897. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photograph uploaded 23/7/2022.
