The St Patrick's Catholic Church, Marong appears to be closed, as there is no record of it on the Diocese of Sandhurst website. Mass is believed to have been celebrated in the district in private homes and other premises from about 1860. The present church building was opened on 25/3/1877 by Bishop Crane.
