The former Porepunkah Union Church property is now privately owned. The building was commenced in 1904, with the first service held in 1908. The last service was held in December 2015. No other details are known about the former church. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 24/6/2018.
The following information received recently (30/1/2020) : I would like to contribute some additional information about Porepunkah Union Church - Former: Today 30.1.2020 at12 PM the new owner of the church XXXXXXXXXX, posted the following to facebook: As some will already be aware I’m sadly having to pull down the old church on bailey street after a year of exploring ways to covert it to a home. Work starts this week. I just thought the community might like to know given the history and cherished memories.
