Trinity Anglican Church

The Trinity Anglican Church, Surrey Hills is part of the Parish of Surrey Hills & Mont Albert and the Diocese of Melbourne. Early Anglican services in the district began in 1885, and on 30/1/1887 the first church building was opened, at cnr Mont Albert Road & St Georges Road. It was erected on land donated by Mr E D Dwyer. A more central location was soon desired, and the present site was acquired. A wooden building erected on it in 1907. A larger church building was soon required, and the present brick building was consecrated in 1922. Over the years other buildings, additions and renovations have been carried out to meet the needs of the congregation. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
