A plaque records: These memorial gates were installed at the original Presbyterian Church that was situated in the car park of Rosebud Beach Shopping Centre. The original timber Church dated 1924 was moved from there and installed as the Hall to this Church in the early 1960s.

The Southern Mornington Peninsula Uniting Church, has two worship centres, one at Rosebud and the other at Dromana, and is part of the Presbytery of Port Philip East and the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria & Tasmania.
