A plaque records: Bell Tower - Dedicated by the local community - to Mrs Martha Johnson - & erected by Edmund Cornell - in the grounds of - St Mary's Church of England, - Beenak Rd, Wandin. - The bell called the faithful - to services and also served as a fire bell. - 6 tolls alerted volunteer - fire-fighters to a house or scrub fire ~ 1930. A plaque records: To the Glory of God - and in memory of - Sister Florence Mary - and foundation sisters - of St Mary's, Wandin - 1918 ~ 1968 - 'Good and faithful servants.'

The former St Mary's Anglican Church, Wandin Yallock is now privately owned. It was built in the 1920s. After it was deconsecrated it was moved on 29/10/1993 to the Mont De Lancey Historical Homestead, 71 Wellington Road, Wandin North.
