Foundation Stone Laid:	23-06-1883
Foundation Stone Notes:	The foundation stone for the first church building was laid by 'Miss Lindsay, daughter of Mr W Lindsay of Quamby station' on 23/6/1883. The text on the foundation stone is not known. Information/photographs are invited. Fifty years later, in 1922, Miss Kate Lindsay again laid the foundation stone for the rebuilding of the old church, using the same silver trowel she had been gifted when she laid the foundation stone of the first building in 1883.

The former St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Woolsthorpe closed many years ago, and the property was sold. The church building was erected in 1883. The church was rebuilt in 1922, but the reasons for the need to rebuild are not known. It is believed the first minister was the Rev James Dalrymple in 1853 and the last Minister, the Rev Andrew Slater in 1983.
