The former St Elizabeth of Hungary Anglican Church, Broomehill is no longer functioning. The church building began as a police station and court house, constructed in 1892. When a new police station was built the old one was bought by the church in 1952. The foundation stone to transform it into a church building was laid on 18/4/1953. The church building was consecrated on 25/7/1953.
No other details are known about the former church. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photograph uploaded 19/9/2018.
