The South Quairading Uniting Church is in the Presbytery of Western Australia and the Uniting Church Synod of Western Australia. "In about 1907, Reverend Hogan, a Presbyterian Minister was welcomed into the South Caroling area. The first church service was conducted under a shady tree near JH Stone's slab hut. The tree was the venue for services for a few years, until the increasing population prompted the congregation to build a church. In 1910 Cliff J James donated the land, and the families in the congregation financed and built the original timber church themselves. The old church was replaced by the existing building in 1955, again financed and constructed by the congregation...The cemetery on the church site was closed in 1932, and a new one was opened at a site 5 kilometres west".[https://inherit.dplh.wa.gov.au/public/inventory/details/abae84a4-77be-4556-b264-a403a5b911f8].
