The former Mt Stirling Presbyterian Church closed many years ago and the property has been vandalised. "The Mount Stirling settlers had strong Scottish links and a Presbyterian service was held in a home whenever the Minister visited from Kellerberrin. With no money and a need for a church, in 1931, the community built a church. Granted a block of land, bush timber, tee trees, hessian lining were all constructed into the church which served the community for many years until it burned down. A cement church was built [1955], but was subsequently destroyed by vandals.
