[This is one of four church buildings of the same design opened and blessed on the same day, in the presence of the Archbishop of Canterbury - Newman, Paraburdoo, Port Headland. South Port Headland].

It is not clear if a similar plaque is affixed on each building. A plaque at Newman records: To the Glory of God - This church was consecrated - The Rt Revd Gerald Muston - Bishop of North West Australia - The Distinguished presence of - The Most Revd - and Rt Hon Robert Runcie - 102nd Archbishop of Canterbury - on Saturday February 27th, 1988.
